In 2019 [Logan Lathrop] deployed to Al Jaber Air Base in Kuwait with the 407th Expeditionary Communications Squadron, where his IT work was “more big-picture and more technical,” he says, though he can’t reveal more. The deployment was stressful, and not just for the usual reasons: he worried he would lose his motivation for college.
