Almost 30 years ago, Kerri Cook Halligan earned her GED, began community college and started a family. She soon found herself pulled in too many directions and put her education on hold.
In November 2018, she began using Modern States to prepare for and pass the Human Growth and Development CLEP exam. She passed six CLEPs in total and earned 28 college credits, saving her about $2,500 in tuition and a year’s worth of time.
This spring, the mother of five from proudly earned her associate degree from Florida State College at Jacksonville. “I’d like to have a talk with past me because I could have saved a bunch of time and money!,” Halligan shared in the Modern States Facebook group.
Congratulations! We admire you and all Modern States’ students earning their degrees this spring.
